The big 3-0 #25 Paint the Amity Island billboard.

Before you see the finished painting I just want to say that I absolutely cannot draw/paint etc. i enjoy doing it but my 8 year old is better than me. I put this on my list as a challenge for my wedding renewals. I made so many decorations for the renewals that i simply didn't have the time to do it for then.

Seeing as i have been feeling like crap i decided that i could sit in the garden and enjoy the sunshine and paint all at the same time.

Armed with the kids poster paint, an A3 piece of paper, a bad google image and a cuppa tea i embarked on my task.

I soon discovered that poster paint is not the best paint for layers. The yellow paint we own is especially bad. After painting the blue sections and waiting for them to dry every time I painted something yellow it went a bit green...

I had no idea how to give the waves depth or how to do shading/shadowing etc. so what you will see is something that is pretty rubbish but I had loads of fun doing it.

The seagull is pretty good!

Sky thought it was amazing so that's all that matters.

The big 3-0 #5 February

Saturday 1st February- My camera stayed like this for two hours!

Tuesday 4th February- Totally stealing my daughter's unicorn pillow

Friday 7th February- Making the hubster craft

Saturday 8th February- Tapas night with my love

Sunday 9th February- Spend most Sunday evenings selling stuff on Ebay

Monday 10th February- Celebrated my 6 month anniversary of quitting smoking, therefore declared I had conquered it.

Tuesday 11th February- This incredible guy is Andrew Marsh. I took this picture years ago on a night out. On this day in 2009, Marshy passed away in a tragic air collision whilst training with the RAF. He was an awesome guy and he is so sorely missed.

Wednesday 12th February- coach trip and curry, awesome night!

Thursday 13th February- crazy fringe!

Friday 14th February- valentines day gifts from the hubs

Saturday 15th February- my little one and I using Daddy as a foot rest

Sunday 16th February- Rocky Horror Picture show time

Monday 17th February- drawing of me by my eldest

Tuesday 18th February- creating the wedding renewal playlist

Wednesday 19th February- perfect bath reading, I pretended I was sailing in the Orca!

Thursday 20th February- teaching my eldest how to draw ballerinas

Friday 21st February- big eye

Saturday 22nd February- Family party

Sunday 23rd February- which one to eat first?

Monday 24th February- present from my husband

Tuesday 21st January- Well done to Coronation Street for this incredible storyline. It was heartbreaking to watch Hayley go and leave poor Roy. They were my favourite TV couple after Jack and Vera Duckworth.
